THE ENTERNS PROJECT GUIDE

You built it.
Now explain it.

Turn a class project into a clear portfolio write-up. Explain the decisions, tests and revisions behind the work you already have.

THE WORK BEHIND THE WORK
01 / FROM CLASS PROJECT TO PROJECT STORYAI-generated fictional scene. Not Enterns students or customer results.

MORE THAN THE FINAL SCREENSHOT

The interesting part
is how you got there.

A finished model only tells part of the story. Your write-up can show what you were trying to solve, the choice you made and how you checked it.

Start with one project. Credit your team. Make your own contribution clear.

Find a starting point

START WHERE YOU ARE

One project.
Something
worth explaining.

No need to rewrite your whole résumé. Pick work you can discuss honestly.

ME / PROJECT NOTES01

That CAD revision
you actually made.

The model is the starting point. The decision behind it is the story.

01 The decision
Which dimension or feature did you change, and why?
02 The check
How did you check the change? Separate measurements from simulations.
03 The next revision
What remains uncertain, and what would you test next?

Writing prompts, not fabricated project results.

A CLEARER WAY TO WRITE IT

Less “I worked on this.”
More “here’s my part.”

Use the guide as a structure—not a script that makes every student sound the same.

  1. 01

    Frame the problem.

Name the requirement, constraint and your role. Give enough context for someone outside your team.

  2. 02

    Show a decision.

Explain an option you chose, the evidence you used and what happened. Credit other people’s work.

  3. 03

Leave room for the next test.

Say what you know—and what you do not. A useful write-up does not need a perfect ending.

YOUR NEXT MOVE

Make the work
speak for itself.

Start with one class project and a clearer way to explain it.
